If you’re craving authentic Chicago-style deep dish in Cancun (yes, Cancun!), look no further — this place is an absolute must-visit.

Tucked away off the beaten path in a quiet, safe neighborhood away from the tourist traps, this spot is a total hidden gem. You wouldn’t expect to find legit deep-dish pizza this good outside of Chicago, but somehow they nailed it. Thick, buttery crust, rich tomato sauce on top, gooey cheese, and toppings layered perfectly — every bite is perfection.

The ambiance is cozy, welcoming, in the ac and clearly made with love you feel like you’ve stumbled into a local favorite. The staff was super friendly and spoke English, which made things easy. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, comfortable, and felt 100% safe even at night.

We ordered the classic pepperoni and was phenomenal. The portion sizes are generous — one deep dish easily fed four hungry travelers (with leftovers!).

If you’re in Cancun and want something different from tacos and resort food, this is it. Whether you’re a pizza purist or just looking for a delicious meal in a laid-back local setting, this place deserves all the stars.

The food was amazing. Closest thing to real Chicago deep dish pizza I've had in the years that I've been here. It's not 100% the same... You can still notice a difference with the cheese being more fluid than it would be, where normally you might expect a sort of lumpier, more congealed kind of cheese - I think in the US they use 'low moisture' mozarella cheese, and places here in mexico don't. The difference there results in cheese that looks / feels "wetter" and looser than in the US. But it was wonderful. The service was spectacular, the manager is very nice. The atmosphere is really good. I loved the music playlist they had playing, actually every song they played reminded me of my childhood from Chicago and were songs my parents love...

Ayer fuimos 4 adultos y 4 niños. Honestamente, mi impresión es que había demasiado queso, tanto que parecía que solo estaba comiendo queso, y solo pude comer una rebanada. Sin embargo, debo decir que realmente había una cantidad impresionante de queso, por lo que en ese aspecto le doy 5 estrellas. Además, el servicio del hombre que parecía ser el gerente también merece 5 estrellas. El área de juegos para niños estaba sucia, por lo que en ese punto restaría algunos puntos.

Lo que más me decepcionó fue que, al momento de pagar, una empleada configuró el monto de la propina de manera arbitraria y elevada. Como no hablo español, mi esposa le preguntó y le dijo que era un “cargo por servicio”. Le preguntamos repetidamente “¿IVA? ¿Propina?” pero seguía diciendo “servicio, servicio”. Después de preguntar varias veces, finalmente admitió que era una propina. Al principio, habían agregado aproximadamente un 20% sin nuestro consentimiento. No me gustan los empleados que intentan engañar a los extranjeros. Llevo dos años viviendo en Cancún y es la primera vez que me ocurre algo así.

Por cierto, visitamos el lugar el 12 de mayo y pagamos alrededor de las 18:00. Por favor, identifiquen al personal involucrado y bríndenles la capacitación adecuada.

Es una pena que un buen restaurante se vea arruinado por esto. Es injusto para el gerente que trabaja arduamente y para el dueño del negocio.
