Cielito Lindo Buffet Restaurant — Restaurant in Chihuahua

I visited this restaurant for the first time with family for dinner, hoping for a great experience based on all the recommendations I'd heard. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. The service was prompt and attentive, which I appreciated, but the food didn't live up to the hype. I sampled a bit of everything, but the only dish I truly enjoyed was the buffalo chicken wings. Most of the other items lacked flavor, in my opinion.

Considering the prices, which added up to about $98 including tips, I expected much better quality. Everyone in our group of eight felt the same way. The restaurant just didn't deliver the great culinary experience we were hoping for. There is parking available, but not a lot. Sadly, I won't...

Again I forgot to take pictures so I apologize. The one buffet table is quite long and has a decent mix. I tried a little bit of everything included the 3 different types of ribs and 3 different types of the boneless wings and 3 types of wings. I have to admit I did not have anything that I wanted seconds. I figure the buffet cooks try to limit the stronger flavors to appeal to the widest audiences. All the meats are heavily coated in sauces so quality fresh meat may not be as much of a priority. The buffet was acceptable but I will likely not go back. Drinks are not included and no bar or beer. Tenia tiempo queriendo visitar el Cielito Lindo de Juarez (Ejercito Nacional) porque siempre mire que habia mucha gente esperando a entrar y parecia un muy buen lugar. Por fin fuimos a comer y nos llevamos una gran decepcion - no es lo que esperabamos. Primeramente y lo mas notable en cuanto entra uno, es el calor infernal que tienen adentro. Parece que tienen la calefaccion prendida -- pero en Abril y con el clima muy caluroso. Al sentir el calor desde la entrada me dieron ganas de salirme pero nos quedamos a comer. La comida esta aceptable, pero muy retirada de ser la mejor de Juarez. En verdad le falta mucho sabor. Tiene mas sabor a comida hecha de prisa que a un verdadero buffet de restaurant. Otra cosa negativa son las personas que sirven los platillos. Sirven los platillos con muy mala manera y dandole prisa a la gente, que en veces ni si quiera dan tiempo de ver y seleccionar lo que uno quiere comer. Repite y repiten la frase ... "Quiere algo mas, quiere algo mas, quiere algo mas?" ... pero como dando prisa a uno para que ya no pida mas. Muy mala manera de servir los platillos. Luego mientras que uno come, no puede parar de pensar en el fuerte calor que hace dentro del lugar. Luego aparte de eso, y aunque tal vez no de mucha importancia pero es un detalle que hay que mencionar, el lugar estaba lleno de cholos. No se si solo fue ese dia que alguna pandilla local fue a comer, pero habian cholos a pase y pase por mi mesa. Simplemente no es lo que uno espera ver en un lugar de esa zona. Le doy dos entrellas porque en verdad no es un lugar a donde quiera regresar, o mucho menos recomendar. Es mas un lugar para la populacha general que un lugar de buen comer. No es lo que mi familia y yo esperabamos ver. Aunque eso no los detenga de ir a comer si son personas que no se fijan en detalles del servicio y el ambiente....
