Red Texas — Restaurant in Chihuahua

Service was very slow at around 7:30pm on a Saturday. We waited around ten minutes just to give our drink orders even though the place was not busy and many servers were standing around looking at their phones.

The food was pretty decent. We ordered the bug nachos, chicken quesadillas, the salad with arrachera and the rib eye with baked potato. It was tasty but lacking in presentation. The nachos plate had nacho cheese sliding off of it onto the table. The salad was piled high and served on a plate way too small to eat it comfortably. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered.

The restrooms were clean.

I would eat here again but...

Very nice American styled restaurant and bar. The meat in the tacos are to die for and the peanut shells from the bucket of peanuts you're given with your order, are thrown on the floor. Great atmosphere with some good ol' country music. They've got rib eyes and t-bones if that's your thing. I tried the t-bone and it was ok. But the tacos that are made with "arracherra" meat are literally the most tender tacos I've ever eaten. Definitely a must...

Very slow service bartender seem to not care who sitting at the bar, it took me 20 of waiting just to say I want and that’s because I had to ask him to take my order. This is 3rd time stoping by has I drive thru Chihuahua. My advice is don’t sit at the bar perhaps the girls do a better job serving you if you sit at al table.

Overhearing the guys next to me they keep calling the bartender “Ivan” they seem...
