We just went for the first time and it was amazing. The food was fantastic, the mariachi band was the best I've ever seen, and the show was really good. It only took about 20 min to cross the border going in on a Friday night and less than 10 minutes in the line to go home. The time the show ends makes it very easy to cross back into el paso. So, definitely drive your car and parking at the restaurant is very easy. I will say that if I go back I will definitely bring ear plugs for me and my family. The music during the show is just too loud and my kids all said their ears hurt. They also do not bring out a detailed bill at the end so I have no idea if it was correct. I also forgot the menu said they included 10% gratuity and I tipped 20% so I guess I ended up tipping 30% but honestly they deserved every dollar of that tip. The service is unbeatable. I never went without a drink or food. The appetizers are rather filling and the dinners are huge so keep that in mind. We went with two other families and it was just a total unforgettable night. Great experience for anyone in El Paso. I do wish the show allowed more audience interaction/dancing because I think it could be fun to let the kids go in the ring, but after the show is over (if they are awake) you can take them in the ring and put them on a horse for a picture! The staff at this restaurant are incredible. Wish restaurants in the US...

It was now the second time I have been to Viva Mexico, both being wonderful experiences. We made reservations about 2 days in advance for our group of 8 any larger than that and I’d suggest at least a week in advance. If you go in the evening for the food then cost for the show is $80MXN, showing up just for the show means you will be charged about $180. The table service is spectacular, they make sure you have everything you need and are consistently making rounds so you don’t have to wait to long to get something. The appetizers and food are all priced around $100+ and it’s well worth it. This time we got a parrillada familiar for $691MXN shared among 4 of us and it was enough food as it comes with potatoes, jalapeño poppers, avocados, melted cheese, and steak for the tacos. It was more than enough food leaving just enough room for a mini carrot cake! The frosting was sweet, covered in chopped walnuts, and overall one of the best carrot cakes I’ve tasted. The show begins at about 9:30-11:00, it depicts many dances from around México and they know how to keep a crowd entertained with the performers and Mariachis. I would definitely recommend eating here especially to celebrate any...
Read moreI had seen so many pictures and videos that my friends had posted and always said how great it was. Well I was finally able to go, and YES, it was AWESOME!!!!! From the time you arrive at the parking lot you are welcomed by the inviting site of the building. Once through the front doors a beautiful waterfall display with beautiful flower arrangements. As you walk through into the actual restaurant part you are in awwwwe at the site of how large and beautifully decorated this place is. WOW.. Incredible. The food was amazing, the prices were good and the shows were out of this world. Absolutely beautiful and amazing!!! Just beware, make a reservation so you have a secured table, this place gets packed, but it is stadium sitting so you can clearly see the show from anywhere in the restaurant. There is a 79 peso charge per person for the show, but what we found out is that if you do not consume a main meal, the show will cost you 120 pesos. But trust me, it was all worth it. My family and I will return over and over again and when friends and family visit, Viva Mexico will be the first and Main attraction they will visit.. I highly recommend it. You will...
