I went to this restaurant twice in a month and I had a bad experience twice. I will probably not visit this place no more. I came to visit Juarez and I remember this restaurant because my aunt took me a while back and the first time the pizza was good but the service was horrible I had 3 different waiters and they forgot to gave us napkins and condiments for our pizza then we ask for sangria and it was super sweet like undrinkable sweet then we asked for another drink which was also super sweet. They took for ever also with the check. The pizza wasn't bad so we thought maybe it was just that one time so we gave it another try... The second time was worse as they kept us waiting at the door, we asked for a lemonade with no sugar and they brought it alit of sugar again. Then we order the lunch special and we ordered an appetizer as well they took for ever even though we were the only people in the place and we saw and heard around 5 people in the back, on top of all that the food was below average and the calzone was very bad. I am a strong believer in second chances, I am a great customer and I always tip 20% to my servers and this time I got very disappointed. I will recommend the palace to be more mindful of their service as they might lose other more...
Read moreFirst when I got there I was actually surprised Juarez had a normal looking Italian restaurant, it's like something you would find back in KC, I was greeted by a waiter and he was kind enough to take my order, the lady at the counter when I went to pay was kind enough to let me either wait outside or inside, I opted to wait inside, the restaurant seems little from the outside but from the inside it's a little bigger, they of course had their covid protocol with how the tables were set up, the order was rather quick and came out hot which I was happy for that, the lasagna did NOT disappoint! I ordered the 4 cheese lasagna and let me tell you not everyone can make a good blend of 4 cheeses mix so perfectly as they did that particular day with my dish, it was soft, the cheese was melted just right, the inside of the lasagna was cooked evenly, didnt have any cold spots, tomato sauce was spot on, not too greasy I want to add, the ONLY thing preventing this from being a 5 starter, instead of the chunks of tomato on the side they should opted for something a little em better? Maybe a small cesar salad, I mean they are easy to make, economic AND all you need is a good dressing but overall I liked my experience, will...
Read moreBut if a hidden gem in Juarez. We were nearby at the Costco and searched for nearby restaurants. The interior decoration is modest but charming. The menu has a diverse selection of Italian offerings. The salads are large enough to share between two people. The bruschetta was some type of pizza dough but really good with great flavor. The house bread was similar to a real light ciabatta which was served to us warm. The four cheese Alfredo fettuccine with chicken breast and Serrano ham was awesome. The Alfredo sauce had a great flavor and texture. The chicken breast was large and cooked very well. It was juicy and tender. The only knock was the wait for service and time from order to food brought to table. All of our food came at once. But everything...
