This place is probably one of the oldest business in this town, they created food culture for the entire city. They cook their dishes with the same old recipes, their flavor is on spot and consistent no matter how long you take to come back (months or years). If you are visiting Colima or Villa de Alvarez this place is a must do. As an outsider the dishes might be all new flavors, one of the most traditional dishes is "sopitos", which is a small sope with meat and some greens covered with such a flavorful tomato sauce, for the most part all dishes here are covered with the same sauce, which in the traditional way of cooking, also probably all dishes here are deepfry, once again this is the tradition, even so, the food is not greasy and is rather flavorful. There's also a unique dish called Pozole, this is a traditional Colima soup, is made out of pork and white corn, make sure you try it, specially if have never done it, make sure you add all the extra veggies and some lime juice, so delicious!
