El Caballito — Restaurant in Colima

The waiter was friendly, attentive and thoroughly knowledgeable of the menu. The location was clean and had a nice decore.

As for the food, the lobster was priced right but you could tell it had been previously frozen. We ordered it made in garlic butter and not only was it overcooked, but the garlic overpowered it. The fish filet was cold when it was brought out and even if you tried to overlook that bit, the fish lacked taste. The salmon was the best plate, the veggies are different than anything I've ever seen, the rice is decent. All in all the only thing it was lacking was a bit of salt.

I'm glad I got to try a new place, however I would not return for any kind...

Hola buenos días ,estamos viendo las calificaciones de este lugar , y ayer sábado nos llevamos un mal sabor de boca ......este lugar nosotros lo frecuentaba mis mucho años atrás y ahora que regresamos quisimos consumir lo que antes ahí era la especialidad,se pudieron camarones con coco, camarones empanizados, muy grasos, no se cómo se llama el platillo que solicito mi hijo pero va con una salsita de chipotle ( rollo caballito), no lo sé ....y su servidora pidió un corte que iba acompañada de una papá al horno el relleno estaba más podrido🤮😡.

Ahora vamos por las bebidas se solicito una margarita está comento la invitada que sabía a squirte con tequila, la piñada estaba muy malita,.... El servicio muy atenta la joven había mucho personal pero la que nos tocó a nosotros al parecer era nueva pues se la paso lavando trastes y no atendió las mesas como se requerían.

Ordeted the Arrechera Bistec, side salad and some Dinner fries. Others ate Shrimp Tacos (soft) and guacamole and side salad. Everything was delicious! Ate outside and there was a great cool breeze. Cost of the whole dinner wasn't expensive at all. Definitely will go back. And great service...
