A very local and authentic place to eat, Los Portales de Suchitlán has been around for over 50 years and continues to draw crowds for lunch and dinner. There are a lot of choices of meats, side dishes and varies accoutrements to put together some great tacos or other Mexican dishes. With those wonderful aspects of the restaurant, the unfriendly cashier destroyed the wonderful vibe we all felt there. We were on our final stop for our tour. We ate then walked up to pay. Under the green cover of tall trees, you can enjoy fresh cheese (probs the best I’ve had in years, if we’re being honest), blue corn tortillas, and outstanding pozole.
