Venus club — Restaurant in Culiacán Rosales

First time here to celebrate wifeys bday, and wasn't sure if it was a bar, a discotheque, a fancy restaurant or perhaps a combination of all three. Theres a huge tv right in the front center playing loud music videos. After we ordered, I noticed a large group of waiters just standing at the bar and eyeballing our table. Then some random ball headed dude, perhaps the manager, came to our table to ask if everything was ok. Other than those small and creepy events, the food arrived and it was great, we had the tuna steak, grilled octopus and somekind of shrimp with mezcal which the waiter flambé right in front of us. The bottle of tempranillo really hit the spot. Then they brought us 2 cakes with the fireworks and the whole team of waiters clapping their hands to wish a happy bday while our waiter was preparing a carajillo right in front of us. Overall, the menu is a little overpriced. I give them 3 stars for the attention to detail and the 2 shows right at our table. It was very entertaining. This place can be a high end restaurant but fails miserably. The food is good, service is mediocre and ambience is nice but the stupid music really cheapens this great potential. What do you want to be? A sports bar or a place that serves high end meals? Not sure you can be in between with 50” TVs and thumping music. Really...

El lugar es precioso y cómodo pero pagas lo suficiente por un servicio y comida de 5 estrella, pero en lo personal, éramos 10 personas y al llegar nos dan la mesa y no nos ofrecen una bebida ni nada, cuando llegaron los demás pedí las cartas y hasta ese momento nos las dieron... Después ordenamos y al principio el guacamole con arrachera y las bebidas estuvieron deliciosas... La comida que venía después duró demasiado en llegar... Nos dieron una cortesía con tostadas y frijol(estaba frío), la comida duró pasada de una hora y para ser honestos le faltaba sabor... Pero al final quisimos pedir postre pero nos dijeron que ya estaba cerrada la cocina (antes de que pase eso creo que deberían ir a la mesa y preguntar antes de cerrarla si se va a ordenar...
