Who was the waitress today? Because she didn’t want to work there. They don’t take a card so take cash. The Po boy and the 3 fresh oysters were good, everything else was too salty. The guy, I’m assuming was the owner, was nice but he can only do so much because he was also cooking. Waitress just soured the whole experience. No napkins. No drinks. We had to get up and ask for everything. She practically threw the food down on the table when she brought it over. And then when we asked for the bill she asked if we had any more sodas? Ma’am we barely got the 1 for all 3 of us. And that’s because my wife had to get up mid meal and ask for something to drink. You would think the place was packed with the neglect. It was not. Absolutely light and silky oysters, we started with the sampler: 3 oyster shots, 3 tempura, 3 J specials, and 3 raw. All of it was amazing, but I could eat the straight raw and the J specials all day. The garlic bread was also delicious, and the papas fritas did exactly what they were supposed to. Every time we are in town we stop by to see Joel,im not even kidding when I say these are the best chargrilled oysters ive ever had! Everything here is incredible from their clam chowder to their coleslaw and everything in between.If he was in SoCal I would be there a couple times a week.Check them out...
