2-stars. I ordered the Arrachera queso tacos. I am not the type of guy that really minds if food is a little greasy. But this was ridiculous. Regarding timing, there were only three other tables in the restaurant and it took an unbelievably long amount of time. I have no idea what could've taken so long until the food arrived. And then I realized they needed to make sure that they cooked the thin meat for 20 minutes before they sent it out. It was dry and super greasy at the same time. The meat was dry and there was oil pouring off of the tacos. I literally probably got a tablespoon of oil off of the three of them. And that's no exaggeration. And there was no flavor at all. As a famous chef said to me, "salt and pepper are your friends". These were just tremendously bland. It did come with pickled onions and minced tomato and white onions. I was absolutely starving so I ate two of them. I took the third to go but I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. There's a nice cat in our neighborhood. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, and maybe if I ordered something else it would've been better. It was extremely clean and it had a very nice atmosphere. The tables were set nicely and they had nice napkins. Even with so few tables, I couldn't get anyone to make eye contact with me to talk with them about this,...
Read moreWe had a fantastic dining experience! The live music by Dueto Samuray was a great touch, setting the tone for a wonderful evening while we waited for our food. The customer service was top-notch - our server was attentive, friendly, and kind. The food was absolutely delicious! Each bite was seasoned to perfection, and even the vegetables shone. I had the salmon a la Veracruzana which was cooked to a T - moist and full of flavor. We also loved the green rice, which was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of spice.
My husband and dad thoroughly enjoyed the Parrillada for two, and it was more than enough to satisfy their appetites. This generous platter came with an impressive array of goodies, including tender meat, flaky salmon, succulent shrimp, quesadillas, flavorful rice, beans, creamy guacamole, warm tortillas, grilled corn on the cob, cebollitas, and chiles. A hearty and satisfying meal that's perfect for sharing!...
Read moreThe restaurant is in a very busy shopping center, so automatically it was a hassle to find a parking spot. In the end, we ended up parking in a Home Depot across the street. We came here for a family reunion, so we were a big group. It became apparent that the restaurant was not equipped to handle a big groups, since their kitchen was a bit small. The food took a bit longer to be served which it was expected due to the large amount of people, but the drinks did take a long time, which I thought would be no issue. At one point the waitress put some pitcher of water, but gave no actual cups for the water. I ordered the Mar y tierra, fillet mignon, shrimp and steam vegetables. The meat was very rare and cold, matter of fact the whole plate was cold, so I wasn't sure if the plate was sitting somewhere cooling down before it was actually served. The piña coladas were excellent says my...
