The food is pretty good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Our actual "waiter" was very not very bright and required our orders to be repeated several times. The kitchen is really open to the customers and I witnessed a chef munching on food and our waiter was chewing gum the entire time we were there. The staff that provided or beverages was very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the food, quite frankly I'm not sure why they weren't the actual waiters. Our waiter had asked if we wanted a specific appetizer and we agreed, he forgot to mention it was the most expensive appetizer on the menu and brought two of them. My partner and I asked for tap water and we were brought bottled water that was extremely overpriced. In total over $35 we're unnecessarily added onto our tab, you'd almost think they worked on commission. He was not coy in mentioning that it wasn't even 10% and asked if the service was that bad and I told him well that's what I gave you. I took the money back and let him be on his merry away. He himself acknowledged that his work wasn't worth the tip and I wasn't going to force him to take my money. As to my knowledge that's well above the Mexican minimum wage. If I didn't think low enough of the restaurant that act really topped...

Hands down, the best chilaquiles de chicharrón prensado I have ever had — absolutely delicious! The restaurant at Pai Pai totally blew us away. The food was amazing, the space is super clean, and the setting is just so beautiful and relaxing.
My daughter had the American waffles and loved them, while my other daughter ordered the churro waffle — it looked and tasted incredible. I also ordered a hot chocolate from Oaxaca, and it was rich, comforting, and just perfect.
My husband got something too (I’ll have to add a photo later because I forgot the name 😅), but everything we tried was fantastic. You can really feel the care that goes into both the food and the atmosphere.I love how they gave us all a complimentary fruit plate before getting served our dishes.
This place is a hidden gem — if you're visiting Pai Pai, don’t skip the restaurant. You'll be glad you stayed...
Read moreWe've been here a few times and they never disappoint. The dinner menu is excellent and absolutely delicious. The mixology is on point as all of the drinks were perfect. Breakfast was also a great experience. An extensive menu of traditional and traditional with a "baja twist".
