Wendlandt — Restaurant in Ensenada

Came here today for the first time right when they opened at 1:00 because people said it was dog friendly and so cool. I sat at the bar outside for about 15 minutes before waiter came. When he did come he informed me the menu was online and then didn't return for another 20 minutes. It was not busy. After watching plate after plate of food go by, I had to go inside to find him. He took my order at the bar. It took over 30 minutes for a Chicken Sandwich on a tiny plate and it came with nothing. When I was done eating I sat there another 15-20 minutes and had to go inside to ask for the bill and the waiter was leaning on the bar on his phone. Another waiter brought the bill to me. My dog is very well trained so she wasn't an issue. Sad to say after working in restaurants my whole life this was terrible service, bland food and poor presentation. Other than the location I don't see what the hype is. Didn't stay for the beer. 210 for Sandwich and lemonade. Maybe another try...

We came for a couple beers, specifically the MexiHazy. The bartender had the WORST attitude. We waited and the bar and she wouldn't acknowledge us. Finally she tells us that they have waiters to take our orders. Ok, fine. We get our beers, filled inconsistently. It was very tasty. We ask for a second round - one beer has about an inch of space, the second two. We ask the waiter to have them fill the glasses as we are paying for a pint and the bartender looks at us and runs to the back. When she comes back, she sends us the same beers. Hella attitude. The beer was good, but not good enough to tolerate the temper tantrum of a sassy bartender who...

Beer is amazing, food is great but the awful bathroom situation?

There’s was an event today where they didn’t control the people that were coming in and out. I spend two hours at a table at top level today and every time I wanted to come down to the restroom (cause the top level only has ONE TOILET) I needed to do a queue that took from 20-30 minutes to come up again which is absolutely unacceptable. I had a table already, what do you mean I need to do a queue to came up again to MY TABLE 🤣

What about maybe controlling the people you bring in the establishment...
