Really yummy and affordable home cooked style food! We got the chicken fajitas, house omelette (bacon & cheese with avo), and chicken breast with bacon & cheese omelette. Everything was great and we really liked how it came with some salad and rice, usually with beans too but we requested without. The owners and waiters are really friendly, nice place to check out, especially to / from Bacalar :)

Hace unos días llegamos a Felipe Carrillo y sin saber que comer, busque y leí los comentarios sobre mamá Lupita y tenían razón 😃 El lugar parece algo escondido, pero tiene su nombre en la entrada. Fuimos en día festivo y a pesar de que el lugar estaba lleno, nos atendieron rápido y la comida fue realmente deliciosa 😋 el sazón que probé al pedir unos huevos rancheros (cocinados con sabor regional) fue lo más rico que comí esa mañana. Si están cerca de Felipe, sin duda visiten la cocina de mamá Lupita ya que los platillos son deliciosos y las porciones por el precio son las adecuadas✨

Can highly recommend La cocina de mama Lupita, located in Felipe Carrillo Puerto. Family run restaurant serving delicious food. We stopped there for breakfast and each dish was outstanding. I opted for the huevos rancheros and it did not disappoint. The motulenos and the hot cakes also looked incredible. The menu offered a good number of options making it hard to decide what to choose! The owner "Antonio Banderas" made us feel very welcome and shared with us his local knowledge of what to see and do in the area. ...

Great place to visit and have lunch when we were driving to Bacalar. We read many great reviews and it did not disappoint! One man speaks English and helped us.
