We have ordered dinner using their delivery service three times. Two of the three times they were over an hour late on their designated time and this was after asking them what time we needed to have our order in to get a delivery at an approximate time window (45’ ahead of time). This means that we placed our order 45’ ahead of time and then waited an additional hour to get our food, for a total of 1’45” wait time. Despite texting with us before placing the order via phone, they stopped responding to texts after they were late. Any business that ignores customer requests after the order is made, that speaks volumes about their customer service culture. Their driver “got lost” the first time they were late (in the heart of centro, really?) and the second time they were late they sent a taxi and the driver told us they had notified him “quince minutos” prior to arrival! Needless to say, the food arrived cold, wet and soggy. The nachos supreme were cold and soggy. The burritos were both cold. The chips that arrived with the guacamole were dripping with cold grease. The service is awful and as a result the food suffers. If you are looking for a reliable delivery option, Don Lupe Grill is NOT...

An Unforgettable Evening in the Rain, sometimes there's restaurants that I don't write about because I don't want them to become too crowded.

Dining at this open-air gem was an absolute treat! As we settled in, a gentle rain began to fall, accompanied by the soft rumble of distant thunder. Instead of spoiling the evening, it only enhanced the cozy, magical atmosphere. We felt like we were in a romantic movie scene, surrounded by nature, with the rain adding a touch of elegance.

The food was just as delightful as the ambiance. My chicken fajitas were full of flavor, perfectly seasoned with a delightful balance of spice. Every bite was delicious! My wife’s BLT was equally impressive—crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and perfectly toasted bread made for a satisfying and memorable sandwich.

Despite the rain, our evening was nothing short of perfect. This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a whole experience, on certain nights they even have live music.

We’ll be back for sure,...

Lovely place for traditional local food. Friendly hosts. Seems to be patronized by the local gringos. Pet friendly. Live music at 6 pm, but call to confirm. I enjoyed my beef tacos. My neighbors enjoyed their enchilada & Shrimp stuffed Avocado which I will try when I return. While waiting for food, there were homemade tortilla chips with a picante salsa! My neighbor says they are the best chips around! Will definitely return! A lovely meal of just 195 pesos…of course, I did not order any drinks and paid cash as my order was under 200 with...

This is a small family restaurant. It is difficult to locate from the Google maps directions, see my attached photo of the entrance from the street. There is no street signage. We almost left before finding the parking lot entrance. We ate lunch and the food is good, but not excellent. The prices are typical with most meal choices being around MXN$150-250. The restaurant has a nice patio vibe and the staff & servers are friendly & attentive.
