Please be aware if you are traveling and stopping here. This was one of our stopping points for years. Unfortunately, last week we stopped to eat and they broke the lock on our vehicle and stole all of our luggage and other belongings. There was a "Security" guy outside and "cameras". Whoie visiting San Luis Potosi, decided to go to Guanajuato. My cousin suggested we stop at a restaurant in a gas station! I had to take her word that the food was good! Este lugar no es sólo una gasolinería de carretera. Tiene dos restaurantes, fuente de sodas, tienda de artesanías con minisuper, baños limpios, grandes y bien equipados, amplio estacionamiento y hasta servicio de regaderas. En el centro del edificio hay una locomotora real, sólo como atracción. En el restaurante principal siempre hay servicio de buffet. La última ocasión que estuve ahí, pedí la carta para comer algo ligero y resulta que no tienen un menú impreso ni digital. La hostess me lo expresó tal cual. Y al preguntarle si tenían botanas o sandwiches, me recitó una serie de productos con sus respectivos precios. Y su frase final fue: "esos son los que recuerdo"... Descuido de la administración, ya que no todos los visitantes desean tomar una comida completa o simplemente hacen parada para descansar brevemente y tomar un refrigerio.
