Hidden down a dirt driveway from the Main Street, this painted blue restaurant is an absolute gem! We decided to try their pizzas on a Tuesday night when they had a "2 pizzas for $400 pesos" deal. It's a great deal! They do require cash for this deal so bring plenty of pesos! We ordered the Rancho Picante Pizza that had ham, bacon, pineapple and jalapeño. It was delicious! The very thin crust had plenty of cheese and toppings and was cooked to perfection in their wood oven. It had plenty of flavor and we enjoyed it immensely. Regular price on this was $350 pesos. We also ordered the artichoke and prosciutto pizza. This one didn't have as much cheese or toppings. However the prosciutto tasted very fresh and wasn't dry like I have been used to. It also was a bit over-cooked and had some burnt edges. It still was good. We just tore off the burnt edges. However, I don't think we would order this peculiar pizza again. We enjoy more toppings. Regular price on this is $350 pesos. We were served two sauces to go with our pizzas. One was a red pepper sauce/oil and the other was I think a basil sauce/oil. They both were great drizzled on top of the pizzas. **Two pizzas for 2 people was MORE than enough. We took the leftovers (almost an entire pizza) back with us and ate it for lunch the next day** We both ordered a margarita and asked for the rim to be Tajin instead of salt. It was presented beautifully in a beautiful margarita glass. It was very good and very strong. Highly recommend! The owner of the restaurant made his rounds greeting everyone and making sure we were all doing good. I always appreciate that. The wait staff was so wonderful and friendly. I loved the atmosphere on the patio with the lights, and decorations. Oh, and inside there's a darling gift store. So many cute things! Don't miss checking it out. Thank you El Jardin for making our night so enjoyable! Can't wait to come back.

Went to the Restaurant, was recommended by locals. Great atmosphere and food was delicious. We ordered Gorgonzola salad (to hungry didn’t take pic) a definite must try for blue cheese lovers, also orders the mussels, ( again to hungry to take pic) was delicious. Orders 2 pizzas, the Saladita and the Hawaiian (don’t judge) both thin crust, toasty, tomato sauce base I believe made the pizza. Recommend spot , also full bar, great drinks.

Our first visit to Mexico and we were lucky to have been recommended Mi Jardin. We stayed for a week and cannot wait to get back there. The owners were extremely hospitable and helped out with a lot of local attractions. Staff were super friendly and tried hard to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Great food and fun times to be had in the restaurant/bar

Great place for families - delicious pizza with a thin, chewy, perfectly wood fired crust, wonderful smoothies, a nicely done gift shop, and a playhouse just for kids!

Pizza: My child proclaimed their pizza the BEST because there was plenty of cheese and not a lot of sauce! I ordered their vegan pizza and it was actually surprisingly delicious. I find that most places use some strange gooey cheese substitute, but Mi Jardin does not, and it was awesome!

Playhouse: Since no adults are "allowed," it gives the kids a space to be that isn't with you but is very safely enclosed within the back garden (jardin) where you can still keep an eye out. The insects were also a huge highlight for our kids - jewel beetles, praying mantids, moths... just so many bugs for them to hunt and play with. The geckos are also a big hit!

I have to subtract 1 star because our party of 6 went on a Friday evening and while it was later, around 8:30, it wasn't very crowded yet. The dark had just settled in and the kids were very hungry but we had to wait at least 15 minutes for someone to come greet us for our order, and then we ordered all at once (drinks and food). Drinks came maybe 10 minutes later, and the adults food soon after... but they forgot the kids pizzas. Huge problem since they were all hangry by then! It took another 20 minutes of waiting for their cheese pizzas to come and by then, full meltdowns had ensued by the youngest. Solved with ice cream, but still. It was tough since they wouldn't eat any of the...

We discovered Troncones in 2005 and would always stay at my favorite hideaway, off the beaten path, but literally 15 steps from the sand and great wave break. We would most always come in to town and grab the specialty pizzas and live music at Mi Jardin. The proprietor has a delicious menu in addition to the pizzas. On a recent visit we decided to stay for a while and swim afterwards in the small yet elegant sectioned pool. The staff there are all very vibrant and professional, our server was Mayra and she gave us a little more history about Mi Jardin. We decided to give their accommodations a try. Aside from being a little further from the water than to what we’re accustomed, the place is fabulous. It’s quiet, central, well equipped with full kitchen, nice towels and soap, plenty of smiles and super good vibes from the entire Family at Mi Jardin!!

Highly recommended Great bird viewing from the balconies and grounds...
