The wife and I visited here 6/29. A decent 10 minute+ cab ride ($20 with tip). We bought the 4-hour package, about $50 less than the ship's deal, and it was just right. Other more $$ are available, but if you're on a ship...the 4-hour deal was just right for us. Plenty of Sol beer and rail cocktails for the price, others are extra $$. We liked the margaritas, no complaints about food or drink for the (good) package deal. The facility is well staffed and very clean with all bathrooms and other mechanicals in the facility in perfect working order. A feel-safe and nice environment. Food was great. Bladimir was our server, great job. The beach was beautiful, but be advised it requires use of a six-step staircase, safe and stable I'd say, to access the water over the short, rocky drop to the beach. But the sandy bottom water swim area is fabulous! Clean, white sand, few rocks if any encountered after a 20 foot wade from shore. Just beautiful and at or above expectations. We recommend this resort for a 1/2 day, reasonably priced place to spend 4 or even more hours. We will return here when we return to Cozumel. Please be prepared for a staff that may not be great at English, so be careful when you place your food order, etc. that it is clearly understood. LAST HEADS UP: Before you pay the entrance fees, make them show you or let you pick out your seating area FIRST!!! Skyreef is/was very short of SHADE when we visited there. If they can't provide you with a shady spot and/or an umbrella or palapa, you may find yourself paid-up and roasting to a crackly crunch in the open Mexican sun.

We went from our cruise ship. They sent us in 2 van taxis for 16 people that went. Plenty iof room in the taxis and it was a short drive. We first went snorkeling in an area marked with bouys right off the shore line. David was our tour guide. He was great! He took us around the reef area from the shallow section to the deep section. He dove down and disrupted the fish so they would come up towards us for better viewing. He dove around 20 feet or so. At the end, the waters were getting rough so we had to start heading in, which was fine. You get tired more easily in rough waters and I was ready to go to shore. We got to shower off with fresh water and eat a nice fajita lunch with rice, beans, and fresh guacamole made by David. It was delicious! Afterwards we tasted the 4 types of a local tequila and then 3 types of infused tequilas. My head was spinning half way through tasting from the alcohol. They teach you the right way to drink tequila shots. The small bottles of infused tequila were $20 each and the larger bottles of the infused tequila were $60 each. The flavors were passion fruit, almond, and chocolate. I don't remember how much the straight tequila was. The ride home was with the same taxi company since nobody was in any shape to drive with 7 plus shots. Granted they were half shots, it was still enough to feel it. Our last stop was a chapel at the beach/restaurant facility. And they have bathrooms, changing rooms, and lockers available. Lockers were $6. David was a great tour guide and I'd recommend him! Pictures are of the reef from the chapel.

A Fantastic Family Day at Skyreef Beach Club, Cozumel! My family of four recently had the pleasure of visiting Skyreef Beach Club in Cozumel during our cruise, and it was truly a highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived until we reluctantly had to leave, the experience was wonderful. First and foremost, a massive shout-out to our incredible taxi driver, Omar. He was an absolute gem, making our journey from the port to Skyreef so enjoyable with his friendly demeanor and helpful tips. If you're arriving by cruise, we highly recommend asking for Omar at the port – he's truly an amazing guy! Upon arrival at Skyreef, we were immediately struck by the beautiful setting. The pristine beach, inviting turquoise waters, and comfortable seating areas (which looked even better than the pictures!) set the perfect scene for a relaxing day. The kids loved playing in the sand and splashing in the calm ocean, while we enjoyed soaking up the sun and the laid-back atmosphere. What truly elevated our experience was the very good service. The staff at Skyreef were incredibly attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our drinks were always topped up, and our food orders arrived promptly and deliciously. Every interaction was met with a smile, making us feel genuinely welcome and well-cared for. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape or a fun family beach day, Skyreef Beach Club delivers. With great food, beautiful surroundings, and truly excellent service, it's a must-visit in Cozumel. And seriously, ask for Omar!
