How to order food/drinks: As soon as you walk in there are 2 different stations. One right as you enter facing the street and one around the corner from it. You CAN pay for drinks with a card. But you CAN’T pay for food with a card at these locations, you must pay w cash for food. If you want to pay with a card for BOTH. You need to go across to the North end cashiers which is where you pick up the food. They can take payment for BOTH drinks and food w a card. There are 4 tequila options for your cantaritos. Get at least the middle of road tequila, don’t get the cheapest one. Lessen the hangover. Then choose your size. The Large 7 lt one is ideal for a party of 4. Tacos are good, aguachile is bomb, tbh all the food was really good. The mojo de ajo shrimp lacked garlic flavor though. Get the papas or duros con todo as a snack after you finish your meal. Enjoy the music. Also, We got to see a proposal too. She said yes.

First of all what a tourist trap. We had to go here because it was included in our tour.. This place is full of people who likes to drink a lot and film themselves to be kind of "popular"? There were 7 mariachi bands playing at the same time and we had 7 different type of songs playing, awful. Everybody was begging for money even if they didn't play for you. We had some taco's there, and I love taco's. The taco's were fresh made, so that's why I give this place a 2 star rating. How could this restaurant improve? First of all, hire some mariachi instead of let every mariachi band play at the same time, this isn't fun.. Also the women at the counter didn't smile, is the work not fun for them? Are they hoping for more ? What's the issue of not smiling to tourists? If you don't like tourist, that's what it looked like because to Mexican people they were all laughing. And that's not because I can't speak Spanish, because I do, so what's the point ? The people who were making the taco's were super friendly! Won't recommend it, sorry..

This is the perfect place to go if you have a group of friends and you want to let loose. It's a large outdoor space with shade. You seat yourself at rough wood cut tables and chairs. Here you can order a "cantarito" in many sizes, but most people order the BIG one that your group shares. Plenty of parking in a big lot. When you enter, you have to go to the cashier to buy what you want for food or drinks. You will then show your receipt to get the items at the specified counters. The food is surprisingly good but after many drinks that may be true of almost anything. What is excellent here is the live music. My recommendation is to get a table as close to a live banda or musicos as possible. Then dance and enjoy your friends and family all night. They are open late.

Bastante Clásico ir a los Cantaritos el Güero! Tienen un muy buen sabor, el ambiente es muy divertido, música de mariachi o banda en vivo, familiar, bastante amplio y algo que me agrada es que aunque va MUCHÍSIMA gente, los baños son limpios. **Hey! If you visit Tequila city, you should stop in this place. This is a MUST that you really have to visit. This place has the classical beverage in Jalisco, Is a frutal citric mix juice (orange, grapefruit, lemon) with Tequila served in a glass called CANTARITO, I swear you'll love it, so please ask for a Medium size, TRUST ME! Here you can hear live music with mariachi and banda, EVERYWHERE, is super fun! The only thing that you should know is that always is full of people, so take your time and enjoy. It's worth it.

Great place to visit in Tequila, Jalisco. Is located a bit outside of the center but it’s worth to come here and try a “Cantarito”. They prepare them like no other, the service is amazing and the atmosphere on the weekends is unbelievable. You’ll find different bands playing live Mexican music and there’s a lot of tables where you can sit to drink it and enjoy the full experience. The “Cantaritos” are prepared with tequila, orange juice, lemon juice, pink grapefruit, grapefruit soda and salt. Is a Mexican drink that you can not miss !!! There are different sizes and I would recommend buying a big one if you are coming with a group of friends. All the tourists are more than welcomed to this place and I bet you’re gonna love it.
