This place is perfect for tourists to come for molcajetes after visiting Los Guachimontones and enjoy an amazing view of the lake.

We ordered a variety of dishes, and all of them were good, and a couple were GREAT. The service was a tad slow, and the food could have been a bit better, but the view was absolutely amazing - a lake covered in water lilies with herons swooping in and out.

The molcajete, either beef (carne asada) or shrimp (camarones) were really, really remarkable, and not at all spicy (picante). The marlin and cheese empanadas were totally weird, just unlike anything I had before - once loaded up with salsa verde, they were awesome.

The fish (pescado zarandeado) was good but not the best I have had. The guacomole was also good but...

El lugar está agradable, no muy limpio, la persona que nos atendió es amable pero muy distraída y no tomó la orden completa, cuando nos entregaron los platillos faltaron y después de un tiempo bastante considerable vimos que personas de otras mesas que llegaron mucho después ya tenían sus alimentos y cuando preguntamos de nuestra orden nos hicieron ver qué no lo pasaron, cuando llegan los últimos platillos no nos entregaron las guarniciones completas porque dijeron que ya no había chilaquiles ni queso, siendo que cuando llegamos no había casi nada de gente, sinceramente dejó mucho que desear esos "olvidos", al final compensaron unos chilaquiles por quesadillas; el sabor estaba bien, pero el café de olla sabía diluido, está amplio el lugar y tiene vistas bonitas, el personal es amable pero no tienen buena organización y se les olvida llevarte lo que pides, como tortillas, o condimentos, o los platillos y terminan llevándolos ya que todos los demás terminan sus...
