I stayed in Quimixto for several weeks this winter and this became my favorite place! I have no idea how Dora and Diego manage to do so many different things so well -- fancy coffee, margaritas, real ice cream with waffle cones, sushi, hamburgers, fish, you name it. The hamburguesa con camaron was in particular one of the most spectacular sandwiches I've had anywhere, hands down. Prices are very reasonable compared to the beach restaurants and it's so much fun to sit on the street and watch the life pass by on the old cobblestone path. Brought my mom to see the waterfall in Quimixto and stopped here along the way for a cocktail. Diego, Dora’s husband is an excellent mixologist! I believe it was a hibiscus margarita, and it was so crisp and refreshing👌🏽. On the way back down we stopped for a couple tacos and let me just say, Dora you are an amazing cook!
