Such a great spot we came back the next day! Our guy Pedro took beyond excellent care of us during our two visits to Lilo this weekend. First sunset dinner was phenomenal, top food picks for us were the Pineapple taco, tostadas, beet salad. The team even picked fresh flowers for our table after they found out it was out anniversary. Here again for breakfast this morning, stellar coffee and the french toast was beyond. They don't know how to make espresso! I mean in Mexico I didn't come across a good care who can make good coffee but if you claim you are a Italian restaurant and charge people a lot of money then at least learn how to make good coffee. The food was average definitely over priced for it is taste and presentation and amount. Only coconut ceviche was interesting. Our meals were grilled fish and pasta with duck meat which had almost no meat in it. Staff was friendly and the ambiance helps to justify the price a tiny bit. Let’s start with the location: absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of a pristine, empty paradise beach. The service is excellent, with an incredibly friendly staff. And the food? Simply delicious. We spent five days in Careyes and tried several places, but each time we ended up regretting it and eventually devoted our last days entirely to Lilo.
