McCarthy's Irish Pub | López Mateos Sur — Restaurant in Jalisco

Went here for lunch on St. Paddy's day. There is zero Irish food on the menu, not even bangers mash or shepherds pie which every Irish pub carries throughout the world. They have a specialty of French fries covered in nacho cheese... not very appetizing. The service was slow when they weren't busy at lunch. The manager told my girlfriend and I a live band was playing at 8pm and she would reserve us a table inside for the band that night. We arrived then and there was no band, no tables open... and the manager said "oh sorry I couldn't get you that table I promised". la primera ves que fui con mi esposo unos meses atras como noviembre 2024 todo muy bien, pero ahora fuimos por segunda ves y PESIMO servicio , tardaron media hora(Y EL LUGAR CASI VACÍO) en llevar nuestro pedido solo 2 cervezas y unas alitas, por cierto que yo pedí una cerveza bohemia y el muchacho me dijo que no había y le pregunte que si de ninguna (ya que tenian 3 opciones de esa marca) a lo que él me respondió que de ninguna y apenas eran las 10 :00pm y (dijo que ya se habian terminado TODAS), siendo que en la mesa de a un lado estaban llevando de esa cerveza que me dijeron "QUE YA NO TENIAN" a lo que le llame a una mesera y le dije lo que paso que por que me dijeron que NO había cuando yo estaba viendo que SI y ella solo respondió que no sabía por que el muchacho me había dicho eso que tal ves era por que ya se estaban terminando. Para mi eso no tiene sentido. Luego mi esposo pidió una cerveza oscura en tarro y le llevaron una en un vaso de plastico desechable qué por cierto BIEN MALITA la cerveza y las alitas super secas. Hasta me toco ver en otra mesa también les llevaron una cosa por otra y se tuvieron que levantar hasta el bar para ir por servilletas ellos mismos(los clientes) a lo que tambien de inmediato pidieron la cuenta,ya que los meseros brillaban por su ausencia en la parte de afuera. Otra pareja de plano se fue dejando un plato servido que llegó demasiado tarde, y uno más que iba solo, al ver que pasaban los minutos y nunca fue atendido por nadie él también se levantó y se fue. QUE PENA por que realmente me gustaba ir a pasar un buen rato ahi. This is definitely not an Irish pub. Food is Ok as pubs go, Music is v loud, chairs are not comfortable, maybe a good place for young people to go. This place has no soul and the staff have an attitude. On a scale of one to ten sorry, this is a one, growing up in Ireland we did not serve green beer, There is no Irish redeeming feature about this place.
