Food was okay, not great. Service was terrible and we almost missed our flight.
Had to change our order because they were out of several menu items. We ordered a Philly sandwich, lasagna, a burger and fries, sopa azteca and an arrachera plate. Out of their whole beer menu they were out of everything except Michelob Ultra, Heineken, and Bohemia Clara.
The food came out VERY SLOWLY and in separate groups.
Fifteen-twenty minutes before drinks came. After another fifteen minutes, the sopa azteca came. Fifteen-twenty minutes, the arrachera plate. Ten-fifteen minutes before the lasagna came. Ten-fifteen minutes later, green salsa for the sopa azteca (which had long been eaten) inexplicably came with no explanation Then another twenty minutes before the philly sandwich.
After another ten minutes we were very much in danger of missing our flight by the time the burger came.
The server lamely explained that burgers take longer to cook which doesn't explain the other food items being so slow. Plus no burger takes over an hour to cook, especially of there's no option of how well you like it done.
We asked for a to go bag and for the bill ASAP. Still...
Read moreOn our last morning in México, my partner, his family, our friends and I got to the airport early. After checking in our luggages, we wanted to eat a full meal as there are not many options in the departure area. Wings is a cafe restaurant type place where one can grab breakfast before going through security for our flight. The menu was varied. Complimentary rolls began our meal. For some of us ordered Swiss Enchiladas with Tortillas filled with shredded chicken covered with green mild sauce and topped with manchego cheese, Spinach Omelette stuffed with spinach sautéed with grilled panela cheese over sliced potatoes and panilla sauce, Wings Breakfast consisting 2 eggs sunny side up with 2 pancakes and bacon and Taco Campechanos (Beef and chorizo tacos served with fries potatoes. I finally got my tacos before leaving the country and left out the traditional martajada green sauce as it was a bit spicy. The food looked good but could improve with seasonings for flavor. The portions are decent and the prices are ok considering they are airport prices. If you are by United, give this...
Read moreWifi not working. They give you the password, but it doesn't work. The ingredients are bad, poor quality. I had a sandwich and it was horrible. Tomato and avocado, it was a minuscule piece that you couldn't even find. Ham like plastic, I didn't have it. Horrible bread, cheapest cheese. But prices are high. Unfortunately you need to use it because there are not options at the airport. I would have eaten in the city, but it wasn't possible due to a tight schedule. Yesterday I ate deliciously, with top quality ingredients, many more options, much better service, and paid half at Cafe...
