Swing Pasta Express Caucel — Restaurant in Mérida

I’m convinced that people in Merida cook based on pictures and not taste. This was absolutely disgusting. I wish I could say something good but even the bread was stale and served with bbq not marinara. The pasta sauce, I could not figure out what it was. It said it had a tomato base but I tasted no tomato. I went with the chicken because I’ve already had enough bad experiences here in regards to food and I figured how bad can they mess up chicken, apparently, pretty bad. They were supposed to be strips but I tasted no chicken. I was hoping for at least some type of sign of chicken breast, and it was a mush of something that they fried together. I hate to be negative but I have absolutely no idea what people with these positive reviews are tasting, which I’m basing my decisions on. What I tasted, I would never eat again. I got two orders delivered by Rappi. The creamy chipotle sauce drained out of the one on top because it got tipped over in transit, making a mess of the other order and inside the bag, and left that meal very dry. That’s Rappi’s fault.

The fried chicken strips in that meal were dry, tough, and overcooked and had very little chicken. The veggies appeared to be dumped from a can. Swing Pasta’s fault, obviously.

The grilled chicken cheddar fettuccine was adequate. The bread that came with each order was stale, tasteless, and dull. There are 100 places you can get the same quality for half the price.

Lamentablemente tuvimos una mala experiencia, desde que llegamos no tenían nuestra reservación registrada, misma que se había programado con suficiente anticipación, por suerte hubo una pareja quitándose de su mesa y nos asignaron ahí, después de eso más de una hora para atendernos, ni siquiera nos llevaron las bebidas en ese lapso, no fuimos los únicos a los cuales tardaron en atender, ya que, al igual que nosotros, había otras personas esperando sus platillos, personas que ya estaban antes de que nosotros llegáramos, pienso que le dan demasiada prioridad a sus pedidos a domicilio y dejan de lado a las personas que consumen en el local, al final, optamos por retirarnos del lugar después de más de una hora de espera, nos molestó bastante, ya que nos arruinó los planes a mi esposo y a mí, tuvimos que buscar algún otro lugar para comer a altas horas de la noche, de momento no conozco su comida, pero la verdad, no creo que valga la pena por la pérdida de tiempo para que te atiendan, definitivamente no volvería a ir, y por ende, no lo recomiendo, al final terminamos cenando unas ricas hamburguesas...
