What hasn’t been said about Hunan? Everybody knows that their Peking Duck is the star, so I will write this review based on one cocktail: their Frozen Margarita. Though Hunan is a five star restaurant, their Frozen Margarita is not the best. I mean, it is very good, very institutional. The lemon sorbet is neat, classic, refreshing. The tequila, I don’t know which brand they use. The presentation is beautiful. A big martini glass with a light green sorbet, not small. It looks good. The first taste is bitter, the mix between the tequila and the sorbet produces a not so good effect. Maybe it is the lack of salt and Chile . Maybe the Frozen Margarita has to be be bitter because it doesn’t has salt. If it’s gonna taste like that, I would suggest a tastier sorbet and a better tequila to produce an original degustation. It is more the look and the sorbet than the overall Margarita. I could say that is a generic frozen Margarita. I wonder how their other cocktails taste. Maybe their Whiskey Sour is better? At the end, their Frozen Margarita is very good. It refreshes in the well lighted salon, it entertains with the sorbet while waiting for the food. And helps with the atmosphere, that is not the best. The problem with Hunan’s atmosphere is that is too classic. Some fashion, or extravagant people would give it a cool touch. Aldo some original music would help. Hunan needs an ambiance revamp. It falls into familiar, or business...

Overpriced & unauthentic Chinese cuisine. Not recommended and will not return. PF Chang tastes way better.

Nice environment as you would expect at an upscale restaurant. The set up feels like a hotel lobby. The tables are arranged too tightly together in times of social distancing.

The food were subpar. Peking Duck is underwhelming. Kung Pao Chicken is tender but not authentic. Hunan beef is sweet, which is bizarre considering Hunan cuisine is supposed to be spicy. Fried rice is basic. There is no dish that I personally enjoyed.

Service is attentive (albeit on the slow side); only the Manager speaks some English.

Also strange for a Chinese restaurant to not have proper chopsticks (we were given disposable chopsticks when we asked for them).

Disappointing given that this is one of the highest rated Chinese...

The service is amazing I would give it a 10/10 I feel like a queen here BUT We come to restaurant to eat, and food is all we want, the food isn’t even Chinese authentic at all, will the excellent service compensate for the bad food? No Depends on what you want, if you are looking for authentic Chinese food and especially if you are a Chinese, you would be very very disappointed If I need to give suggestions - maybe try to hire some Chinese chefs?

Also, this is the only place in the world that charges for chopsticks - that’s insane to me

Please don’t use a Chinese city name and Chinese restaurant tag to scam ppl maybe? This place would be amazing with...
