Piccolo Pizzas — Restaurant in Mexico City

Having gone to Piccolo Pizzas was incredible, as it is the perfect place to celebrate any important date. In May I went with my family, parents and brothers to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant’s name Piccolo Pizzas and is located near the north of the city. Near the subway Etiopia. The specialty of this place is obviously pizza, but they also sell Mexican food, for example, my mom ordered an order of chiles rellenos, my dad chilaquiles and my brothers along with me we ordered special pizza consisting of cheese pizza and meat cover from the pastor. The prices are a little high, although there are also quite cheap dishes, but I am sure that if you go hungry and with the best company that is your family, the least will be the Price and more common foods such as hamburgers are a good size. Durante los últimos dos años, quizá un poco más (2022-2024) se ha notado una mejoría en su servicio, pues en el 2020 (seguramente por motivos de la pandemia) éste decayó mucho.

Hoy en día las personas que te atienden son atentas, amables y eficientes con su trabajo. Da gusto cuando toman tu orden o te dan la bienvenida al restaurante.

Este es un restaurante en el que siempre puedo contar si algún día no quiero o no puedo cocinar.

Los platillos son buenos, no hay alguno que diga que me desagrade porque esté mal hecho o sus ingredientes no sean buenos, todos tienen una buena calidad, sin embargo, hay mucha rotación de personal de cocina, lo cual afecta el sabor final de los platillos, la rapidez con la que salen y a veces hasta afecta las porciones (por ejemplo en las pastas que, durante algunos meses fueron ligeramente más pequeñas, hoy en día las porciones vuelven a ser del tamaño usual, pero cambió su sabor, personalmente no me gusta tanto el sabor de ahora, cabrá sólo la oportunidad que las demás personas le den y vean si les gusta o no).

El ambiente generalmente es agradable, hay veces en donde está muy lleno el establecimiento, están llenos de pedidos y puede hacerse un poco caótico por el ruido y el movimiento, pero sólo ocurre en esos casos, el resto del tiempo es muy tranquilo y cómodo. Existe una excepción y es que al lado del establecimiento hay una peluquería en donde suelen fumar y el olor llega hasta las mesas que están cerca de las ventanas. Este no es un problema per se del restaurante y no hay algo que ellos puedan hacer directamente, pero es recomendable tenerlo en cuenta al ir.
