El Rabano — Restaurant in Michoacán

Great tasty food served with an appealing presentation and in correct portions. They have a Kids Menu, very good Salsa and handmade tortillas. Service was pretty good. Plates are combos that include: Soup, Entree, 3 sides, "daily House drink" and desert. The price for most combos are a very reasonable 90-130 pesos with Chicken, Steak, Seafood choices on menu. I ordered Aquacate Relleno de Cameron y Atún (great) with Tarasco soup, Guacamole, Rajas en Crema, and Nopal. The house drink of Jamaica was brought before I could order anything else, and Arroz con Leche for desert (a little bit too sweet). Food was as good as it looked, see picture.

The negatives: Street Parking only, patio outdoor seating with some flies, and the food was mostly room temperature, neither hot for Rajas or Nopal or cold for Cameron y Atún. It should also be noted my wife was sick later, not sure if related, but with mediocre attention to safe food temperature and house daily drink being suspected tap water will be more careful if returning. If we go back we will order bottled drink for the extra cost and send back any room temperature food.
