El Tejado — Restaurant in Michoacán

The staff was very happy to see us and although they spoke little English and we spoke little Spanish helped us to choose our meals by showing us the catches of the day. The pulp (octopus) was beautifully cooked. We also had clams, lobster and red snapper- all very fresh! The lobster came with prawn cocktail made with previously frozen prawns and I would not recommend that. The service was excellent. The bathrooms were lovely and clean. Muy rica la comida. De verdad, de lo mejor. Pero si quieres una atención rápida, considera seriamente cambiar tu tono de piel. Reservamos para una ocasión que debería ser especial, pero en su lugar tuvimos que esperar más de 1 hora (sin mucha gente) solo para recibir nuestros alimentos fríos y en porciones muy pequeñas. Eso si, estaba muy rico la pobre porción que se nos dió. Guarniciones se venden aparte y no van incluídas con los platillos (pese al precio).
