The cheese and sour cream was so damn fresh and tasty and soft, it all comes from their local cows. Wow. The cecina (thin salted beef tacos) were some of the freshest tacos I've had my whole my entire trip on Mexico. The Gran Hotel of Mexico had fantastic shrimp tacos though. But for how simple this place was it hit a home run it's sneaky good. My dad's tamarind juice was the best I've had in the 4 cities I've been travelling to on this trip, and the size was humungous. My family friend ordered the creamy coconut milk and that was so tasty. I myself ordered the coconut with a straw which was simple and refreshing. They even took the coconut and cut it up for me and gave me a bag with the meat to go at no extra cost. We got arroz con leche which isn't a large portion but it's very nice and fresh tasting. Only wanted to try the corn tamale sweet dessert and one other one which I forget. For the price especially, this is one if the best spots ever.

Traditional Mexican "highway restaurant". It's a must stop when traveling through that area. The food is local Mexican food, good quality and flavor. The speciality is called "cecina" and it is thin salted beef. It comes with tortillas so you can prepare tacos if you want. The rest of the food is also good. It is quite big, but service is usually ok and at a good speed. They only accept cash payment.

It is definitely a must to go. It doesn't matter if you are heading to Guerrero or heading to CDMX...the "Cecina" Meat is totally worth it. In my opinion, the cream is awesome. There are some other dishes you can try, but the specialty is what I just mentioned. You can also try natural coconut water from the coconut itselt. The place is huge, even though you could wait for a table in high season. They accept cash only, so be prepared. Even when you are not entering the restaurant, there are clean public bathrooms, a good option when you are in the middle of the highway. It is a 50 years plus restaurant so, it is...

One of the best places to have this called cecina. We had a great time there the food is really good and the place always is busy. if you're coming back from a vacation going towards the beach or if you're on your way to Mexico City from one of the local Villages then this is a place to pick up your meat. And have a bite to eat. A little pricey I would say but worth it. Next time you're in the area this is definitely a stop that you want to...
