La Chilanguita — Restaurant in Morelos

Came here for supper and was quite disappointed. The first drinks we ordered were brought right away and the tacos we got as an appetizer came quickly and were actually quite good. Then it all started down hill, the waiter ignored us and I had to flag down the other server to get my 2nd beer. When the third person in our party joined us later he ordered a beer and a water. It didn't come, the waiter was watching the college game on TV. I had to get up and remind him of the order. Not a super big deal, but then we ordered our food. I asked for the steak burrito, and I received just a steak. The guy brought it and was like are you sure you ordered the burrito, which I said ya, but I told him I'll just eat what he brought. After choking down the steak (it wasn't very good at all) and passing on the bean soup and cactus that came as a side, I told him the food wasn't very good. He brought us our bill and offered no discount and the steak was like 10 dollars more than what I originally ordered. When we asked to just be charged for the burrito given that's what I was expecting to pay, the guy argued with me, claiming he could have re sold the steak. Are you kidding me? How upset would you be, eating a steak that was on someone else's table, then reheated for you. Honestly, I think someone else returned the steak, and he just passed it on to me....

This is a restaurant located in Plaza Averandas. I wish I would've known it would've been a disappointment before spending money here. Service was bad, not horrible, but there was no rush in attending us. And listen, I'm not saying I'm the pope but damn, last time I checked I was a paying customer. Took over an hour to get 2 of our entrees out. And, no the restaurant was not busy. I would usually give a bit of grace if the food is smacking but not even that. Food was mediocre at best....

No me gustó nada este lugar. El servicio es pésimo. Te traen las bebidas y se tardan horrores en en traer la comida, como esperando que uno siga pidiendo de tomar. Cuando trajeron la comida nos sirvieron todo al mismo tiempo: las entradas para compartir, primeros platos y principales después de que nos habían tenido horas esperando. El restaurante tenía pocas mesas ocupadas, no había justificación para la tardanza. La sopa de pasta fría estaba desabrida, sin chiste. Pedazos de mis tacos de carne estaban duros. Al final, pedí la cuenta y al revisarla me percaté de que nos estaban metiendo un gol (cobrando de más) con unos tacos de 150 pesos. Les reclamé y, como si fuera lo más natural, sin mostrar ninguna sorpresa ni disculparse, se la llevaron para descontarlos. Nunca pienso volver a este lugar. No tiene el menor atractivo y si muchas deficiencias, además, muy caro.m y con pésimo servicio...
