Litibú Sunsets — Restaurant in Nayarit

I've eaten here once before when it was "Sunsets" and 3+ times as "Grill" before that. You cannot beat the location. Stunningly beautiful. Only this time we could just not get served. It took 40 minutes for someone to even take our drink order, and another 15 minutes to get our drinks. No one ever came to take our food order! The staff were not moving fast and had time to chat with each other, but apparently not to serve us. It was the slowest service I've ever had anywhere. We finished our drinks and I went to the bar to pay the bill. They didn't seem to care. We went elsewhere (Traditionale, not too far away but not on the beach) and had wonderful food and service. Litibu lost out on over $50/person for a table of 5 since they could not be bothered to even try. Yes, it was the Sunday after Christmas but they were only about half full and the two bartenders were laughing and polishing glasses most of the time. Sorry folks, the beauty no longer makes up...

It’s too bad. This place has great food, good margaritas, friendly service, and — especially — a beautiful and tranquil setting on an unspoiled beach.

But we can no longer stand to go there because of the irritating fake music they think they need to play. Machine-generated, endlessly repeating the same sample over and over with a nagging boom-boom-boom drumbeat, always exactly the same tempo.

One waiter recently told us they have to play that music because people like it. But we were the only ones there and had asked them if they could either turn it off or turn it down.

We suggest that management actually ask their customers rather than assume that it’s good for business. We will...

We are staying at the Conrad, and was trying to find a restaurant nearby walking distance that isn't USD expensive. This place fits the bill.

Walked from Conrad ON DA BEACH. Amazing, yes you gotta walk imagine that walking. But when you get here enjoy an ice cold Victoria Beer delicious and refreshing then get a tequila with a side of ice and topo chico!

Dinner we had grilled Fish Tacos famous, fish of the fah yes please.
