Mi Lola Pizza A La Leña — Restaurant in Nayarit

Mi Lola offers an amazing menu with a wide variety of fare: pasta, pizza, steaks, salads, desserts, wine, coffees, and cocktails. The food is high quality and very well prepared.

Share a Mi Lola salad as an appetizer, its winning combination of chopped apples, dried cranberries, bleu cheese, chevre, lettuce and a slightly sweet vinaigrette can't be beat. The other "must try" is the Dulce Natalia, a dessert pizza with gouda, cream cheese, sliced strawberries, ate de memorial, and finally drizzled with chocolate syrup. After your entree, it's a perfect size to share for two - three people. For those imbibing, I would also recommend the Carajillo Espresso, which is an espresso with a shot of Licor 43.

This is where we take people who are visiting us here at Casa Tranquila on the coast and we take them to tour Tepic. Eclectic decor...rather straight backed chairs...varied menu, good pizza, good steaks, and a desert pizza that knocks my socks off....gouda, with chocolate, cream cheese, and strawberries...wow. The salad Mi Lola is enough for 2 or 3 people to share before dinner. The 2 restaurants in Tepic have a small smoking section...unlike the one in Bucerias. It is a very happy relaxed...

Diners Beware! Their food is sub par. Nothing special but what makes them stand out is their poor customer service and how long it takes them to serve your order. We waited over 30 minutes to have 2 slices of a pre-made pie. Also, you may want to think twice if you are a foreigner and using a credit card. I never had an issue like this in any other restaurant in Tepic but they wouldn't or couldn't figure our how to run a US visa, mastercard or american express. Not sure if they lack training on their machines or if they just didn't like taking a foreign credit card. I would recommend you go someplace where you will feel more welcome and you will receive better service. Won't make the mistake of going there again!

Nunca tuve un problema como este en ningún otro restaurante en Tepic, pero no quisieron o no pudieron entender cómo administrar una visa de EE. UU., Mastercard o American Express. No estoy seguro si les falta capacitación en sus máquinas o si simplemente no les gustó tomar una tarjeta de crédito extranjera.
