Leo's tacos grill — Restaurant in Nuevo León

This is THE place to eat when climbing in El Potrero Chico. Leo is the friendliest person. His food is absolutely delicious.

He often serves buffet style food with chicken, ribs, rice and beans, quesadillas, and more. Has beer for a post climb cool down. The chicken may very well have been the best chicken I have ever had the pleasure to eat.

Leo told us with a day notice he can make something at our request. He made us Chicken Mole!!

It has a wonderful atmosphere where climbers and others can sit together, talk about their favorite climbs, and have a wonderful meal.

If you come to El Potrero Chico and don't eat here then you missed out. It's a MUST...

We rented a house next door to Leos, and he is the one who met us and gave us the keys and tour. Leo is SUCH a kind soul. Such a great human. He welcomed us into his restaurant a bit early and hosted us while we waited for friends to arrive from the airport. His food was amazing!! Such a great authentic vibe to his restaurant. Very kind and accommodating to everyone. We need a ride into the park for out next AirBnB for our last 2 nights and he got his son to drive us, who was also a great guy and up and cominh rock climber. What a special spot!!! Leo’s cooking is the best thing a climber could ask for after a long day in the mountains. The food was absolutely delicious, and Leo was so friendly and kind! I will definitely be back for more of his inspired and comforting meals. He also has rooms to rent that are perfectly situated in between the mountains and town.
