A house music bar with a great, chill atmosphere—but an unnecessarily complicated payment system that takes away from the experience. We arrived just before they started charging a cover and found the bar not too full. That’s when we learned they don’t accept cash or card, only a preloaded payment card (that they sell) to buy drinks. That system was already a turn-off, but since they had QR codes everywhere promoting an app, I tried to use it—only to find out that the app didn’t work for reloading the card (apparently the app didn’t charge a fee for a “card”). The only way to get a physical card was to pay $50 pesos and then load it with a balance… but ironically, the only way to do that was with a credit card (?). The whole thing felt unnecessarily complicated. The staff member handling the cards had an attitude and wasn’t helpful when we tried to troubleshoot the app, so we just ended up paying for the card. Once past that hassle, getting drinks wasn’t bad—there wasn’t much of a line—but it was still a ridiculous amount of steps for something that should be simple. As the night went on, the bar filled up, the music was solid, and the atmosphere was really enjoyable. However, the bathrooms were oddly designed—too dark, and the sinks were only in the women’s restroom, making something as basic as washing hands unnecessarily complicated to find. Overall, the vibe and music were great, but everything else was just too much of a hassle for no reason.

Topaz Deluxe is the best house bar in Monterrey. There is an outdoor area to enjoy the music and conversations with others. Inside, the music is too loud, but it is perfect for us who want to listen to the music and nothing else.

If you’re interested in having fun and being surrounded with people dancing to the best electronic & underground music in town, then this is the place to be.

One of the best music venues in Monterrey. And the best electronic music venues in the city. The curatorship of the music, the atmosphere, the people, all is great. The club has survived through the insecurity and COVID due to the dedication of the founders and love of the city. Hope it will be there for...

Cool vibes, the decoration im all about! Unlike any other club I've been to here in mty, i think the price is cool for the what the place offers. Although id like for the entrance arrangement before they let you in, to be better, it was just a tad bit stressful, but other than that, had...
