On our last day in Mexico, after searching for a place to eat a good rib-eye steak, we finally found a restaurant that offered what we were looking for. We ordered two rib-eye steaks, one medium rare and the other well-done. The exquisite seasoning of the meat was perfect, and the cooking was perfect, the steak was accompanied by some grilled onions and we ordered a side of fresh guacamole to pair the steak. Also, they offered 4 kinds of salsas, the one made on the molcajete was my favorite. Upon taking our order, they brought us a giant toasted flour tortilla as a plate, and on top of it, we had some traditional “gorditas de manteca”. Our drinks were a local beer and exquisite coffee. The service was very good and pleasant; we felt very welcome. The waiters were constantly checking in to ask if everything was okay even though the place was packed. The food was pricey, but the excellent service was worth it. For travelers visiting Nuevo Leon, Mexico, I recommend stopping by the restaurant; you'll be impressed and have a wonderful experience. 100%...

The wait staff is attentive, quick and super friendly. As son as you sit at the table they bring you this massive crispy white tortillas, with other corn gorditas. Read moreTenía un alta expectativa para este restaurante que tiene muchos años de historia pero nunca tuve la oportunidad de ir, este fin de semana fuí con mi familia, el servicio es Excelente, muy profesional, muy atento en todo momento, las entradas y los postres también, yo hablaré de mi Asado de Puerco en particular. Los Frijoles y el Arroz estaban apenas tibios, con buen sabor pero casi fríos, el asado estaba un poco salado, nada que no pudiera esconderse con las tortillas de maíz o la salsa de chile verde que estaba muy picosa (como debe ser), la porción (para el precio) me pareció pequeña y además el mío los trozos eran muy pequeños y la salsa tenia mucha grasa (mucha mas de la que normalmente comes en cualquier asado a mi parecer). Viajando desde Monterrey solo a comer ahí y con tantas otras opciones de camino hacia allá, creo que tardaría en volver...
