Wow! What an experience. Had an amazing tour with Reina. We began with the different steps of Pulque in Matatlán is made. Which was a family lesson, and Reina has kept it alive. Beautiful flavors they carry that we were able to taste. We also stopped by the hometown museum that went over all the knowledge and history of the beautiful town! And Reina also took us to the harvesting magueys to extract FRESH maguey water. My group had never experienced such amazing hospitality! Please visit La casa de Pulque!

La Reina was absolutely amazing! She has such a wonderful story, and her dogs are so awesome! She gave us our first pulque experience! It was REALLY cool sampling the various ages and how the flavors change over time AND with other flavorings! She even took us out and showed us how the pulque is extracted. This woman is amazing! 500/10 - go, listen, taste and have an amazing time!

We had such a nice time on our tour trying the pulque and buying the local jams! Make sure you stop by whenever your are touring the mezcal fields in this area of Mexico.

La Reina was absolutely amazing! She has such a wonderful story, and her dogs are so awesome! She gave us our first pulque experience! It was REALLY cool sampling the various ages and how the flavors change over time AND with other flavorings! She even took us out and showed us how the pulque is extracted. This woman is amazing! 500/10 - go, listen, taste and have an amazing time!

A range of pulque, including passion fruit and guava flavored pulque. We decided to buy a couple liters of a blend of fresh pulque and a 4 month barrel aged pulque. She was willing to adjust the flavor to our liking.
