Frida Libre — Restaurant in Oaxaca

We love this new restaurant in SAE. The food is super fresh with local & high quality ingredients. All the dishes we had we enjoyed a lot, everything is so yummi. Prices are super reasonable for the quality you get. We had coconut shrimp, fish, fish & chips, guacamole, avocado toast, fish tacos, burger with bluecheese, the mimosas for brunch (hello where do you get this?! :-) ) the wine selection and the mezcallini con tamarindo - everything is wonderful & so delicious. Also all the salsas that come with the dishes are fantastic. My daughter loves the kids menu, so great that they cater to the little ones. My family has dined here twice already since its opening. It was so good that we brought a friend with us the second time! We enjoyed the pesto pasta, fried fish tacos, risotto, mezcalitas and guacamole.

Everything is very fresh and it has a wonderful atmosphere, with a great view of the San Agustin landscape. Customer service is also fantastic.

We can’t wait to see how this restaurant grows and are looking forward to returning. Would highly recommend!

Wow. This is the best meal I’ve had in San Agustin and… Oaxaca!

The fish was flown in and perfect. The curry was wonderful. The chips and dip, the tamarind drink… everything was perfect. Even the coffee had me dreaming about it after I left.

Sharee and Frida are absolutely wonderful hosts (technically Frida is the talented chef behind the food).

I’m already a regular and will continue to be while in Oaxaca. Highly recommended.
