Ilegales — Restaurant in Oaxaca

This excellent restaurant passes all the way. Qualifications. Those of price, quality and ambiance. I went with my family and the price Jordan wanted to stop right now s are excellent and doable for the content and quality of the food. Delicious and well prepared, although we did have to wait a few minutes to get it. The quality of the food isn't the only thing to boast about, the tables and seating and even the cutlery and plates and cups used. Feel like I am fine. Dining. The ambiance is calming and on chaotic, it has beautiful basket, lighting and music to make the mood right. I'd like the simple architecture and two-story building scheme with parking on the side.

All in all this restaurant is the 10 out of 10 for me and let's just say it's hard to review many places without reading....

The food is really, really good. I asked them to make me a caprese salad as they have a caprese panini, I didn't want it as a sandwich. They made an incredible salad, I wanted to order three more! Their house french fries are really good, however, when they say bacon, they mean Canadian bacon so just be aware, I thought they were great either way. Their hamburgers are really great, I added a bunch of toppings to mine, it was divine. The pricing is reasonable as well.

The only negative was, they weren't fully open at 1 pm, and the cook didn't arrive until 1:30 so we had to wait a while...

Place gets busy in the afternoon. Owner was a chef in NY so you'll notice the taste of the food to be American with local ingredients. I ate here twice and the burger, fries, and Torta with Oaxacan cheese was really good. Many hotels nearby so it's a good place to check out late night. I don't drink so I didn't try the drinks. But the workers are experienced enough to make a good drink with the local Mezcal. So give it a try. Definitely bar atmosphere with...
