El Palmar Restaurant - Banquetes — Restaurant in Ocotlán

While in Jalisco we had another great visit to El Palmar. It’s one of this places where you can’t get enough. Food fresh delicious and generously served. Waiters attentive, helpful, resourceful. With Chapala lake in the view a good drink, friends or family at the table, this place is a winner. So beer was the drink chosen with our meals also micheladas and lemon basil mojito type drink. El Palmar offers a wide range of Mexican dishes. They have a variety of beverages to choose from. I like that they have been including new items. I find the price per person reasonable, considering it’s a buffet and it includes beverages. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I appreciate that they always try to give my grandparents the best attention. I have also been here for lunch, and while it’s not a buffet, the menu is quite delicious. Llegué al lugar porque vi carros y supuse que estaría bueno, el lugar tiene buena vista a la laguna, un búngalo grande aunque sombrío. Al llegar había mesas disponibles mas nos pusieron en lista de espera de aprox. 25 min, nos pasaron antes. La atención es PÉSIMA, el mesero que nos atendió, desesperado desde el principio, se notó su disgusto cuando no le aceptamos pedir sus sugerencias. Le irritó que haya osado a pedirle una mortal coca con hielos. Una vez tomada la orden, los alimentos llegaron TARDÍSIMO, MÁS DE 30 MINUTOS DESPUÉS. Cuando llegó mi platillo, un Fruti di Mare, (el cual su calidad, vista y sabor fue lo rescatable de la visita, muy buenos) a mi mortal coca ya se le habían derretido los escasos hielos que le surtieron. El mesero durante ese tiempo JAMAS se apareció a preguntarnos si todo estaba bien, como para renovar mi coca y disfrutar mejor mi comida. Acabe mi comida sin bebida alguna. Y al momento de la captura de la fotografía habían pasado 15 minutos en los cuales no recogieron el vaso de coca ni mi platillo.
