Cory Smoke House BarBQ — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Top-notch BBQ in Playa! This place is a bit of a drive from the main tourist area but it's well worth it for the top-quality BBQ! I would say this is mostly Texas-style, but after talking with 1 of the guys working there, it's apparent that they offer a huge variety of things that would be outside of pure Texas-style. I arrived early so not everything was available but i was able to get pulled pork, brisket & mac & cheese. They also include 1 sliced sausage with the combo. Gotta say the pulled pork was amazing, as was that sausage (wish i would have ordered more of those), mac was good as well. The brisket had a great flavor but was too fatty (marbled) for my taste, but i prefer probably more lean than the average person so YMMV on that. I think I understood that they offer some special tacos and other options on some nights, but I sadly wasn't able to get back to try them... next time for sure though... highly...

Omg Cory smokehouse was amazing. Super friendly staff and amazing food. We had the brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese, quesabirrias with consume. Every bite was delicious. We will definitely be going back for more. If your looking for great BBQ look no further...
