World Cafe — Restaurant in Puerto Morelos

3 stars is very generous for this place! Here are my pros and cons about this establishment.

Cons If you like dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in 32-degree humid weather, this place is for you. I myself don't like to sweat while eating. The place is patio sytle setting and not air conditioned. I don't recommend it if you have kids coming along.

It's very small for a 5 star hotel buffet. Limited variety.

Overall, food quality and flavor are mediocre at best. Nothing will really blow you away for a supposit 5-star resort.

You will sometimes get seated with strangers at your table.. kind of odd😅.

It's the only buffet in the entire resort.. Food gets very boring for a 7 day stay. The only other option for other breakfast options was the Italian restaurant, which you have to be a preferred guest to enter, cost extra! And still, somedays they're closed!? Not to mention a longer wait time. Especially for dinner service..minimum 1 hr waiting time if you're lucky.

Pros. The waiters are top-notch, fast efficient, and very friendly. Some reviews say differently. But 7 days in at the resort and not a single bad day of service.

Sometimes, they will move the buffet to an air-conditioned room.
