Barbacoa Don Lole — Restaurant in Querétaro

Great food. Definitely a unique experience. You have to get there before 9am, or you will experience very long line of people. The menu in the am is very brief. Your options are basically soups and pulled pork BBQ. IT is not the American pulled pork. It is what the call here "BarBecoa" if I'm spelling it correctly. It is very delicious once you pack it yourself into your desired tacos. They have lots and lots of entertainment for kids of all ages. Perfect family getaway, if you manage to get the kids up at 7 on vacation ;) Outside they have Horseback riding and drinks available to purchase. The landscape is spectacular with mountain views and greens to stare at while a fresh breeze sweeps through the restaurant. The inside is a sight to see with great traditional paintings and a great fountain. People, hostess, and waiter/ess are amazing at feeling you welcomed and comfortable. Best service ever compared with Hacienda Don Lole (same business different location and bigger size), i might thing service is better because of the size, but even due it can take up to 200 people. As soon as you sit, waiter/waitress join to offer you beverage and an entry, I always order a Tecate or Carta Balnca 😁. Cafe de Olla could be sweeter for some people. Horchata or Jamaica are good too. 1/4 kilo of Barbacoa its enough for two adults, try guacamole with habanero its spicy but not too hot. Desserts...

They have live music and great atmosphere, the food is really good as well, one of the bed barbacoas I ever tried, they have some other options to eat. The coffee and desserts as good as well. The street where is located is very narrow but they have people there to help you find a parking spot, if you continue straight on the same street they have a parking lot where you can park easily. I will definitely come back and try some other options from the menu, good place to have a weekend brunch with family...
