Horrible service! Can't accommodate large parties. Walked in with a party of 12 was greeted by an older woman who said we could sit where we wanted and hands us menus. Minutes later a young female comes out and says we can only use 2 tables because if someone else came they need a place to sit. Mind you the place was COMPLETELY EMPTY!!!! (And the tabels only sat 4, so that meant 4 from our group couldn't sit). We asked if she was joking and with a straight face she said no I'm not I need the other tables just in case someone else comes. We got up and left didn't even order

Note: the 12 of us have been traveling the state all week and every other town we have been treated with...

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. The owner assumed that we didn't speak any Spanish, so she went out of her way to find someone who spoke English. The food delivery guy to be exact. But we do well enough with restaurant Spanish. It is quaint and authentic. We were there for breakfast. I had huevos rancheros which were very good! Corn bread as an accompaniment, it was very good. My husband had scrambled eggs with bacon. The bacon was the best we've encountered in Mexico! That was a treat. The vista is incredible. I recommend this place. We will return. Thanks Eric for your hospitality and sightseeing...

Went for late lunch because everything else seemed to be closed on Saturday afternoon. Great view of San Joaquin, service was friendly, beer was served quickly and it was nice and cold. It took them forever to bring our food, first came one plate, then it took them some more time to bring the second dish. Costillas mineras was not bad. The other one should have been chorizo with beans and stuff but we think they ran out of chorizo because we only received a small piece, the rest was greasy and fatty, thin and chewy meat. Should have taken it to the dog outside. Fair price but much to improve. Would...

Excellent!!! Great service, Great food, Great people! Get the skirt steak meal with a cold beer and you can't go wrong! I ordered the steak medium rare and it was the most tender steak I've had in a long time! Eric and his family are great hosts and I can't recommend them enough, I will be back some day!
