La Cabaña Oriental — Restaurant in San Luis Potosí

This restaurant was located not to far where I was staying and thus was a nice pleasant walk to the restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant with a few others, we were met with pleasant surroundings, friendly staff, and a comfortable space.

Once seated, the staff there helped me and others with recommended items off the menu. The items that I have ordered were Futa Maki, Vegetable Tempura, and Pork Ramen. The staff that took our order recommended getting the appetizer (the Tempura) as he let us know that the Ramen would take a while before it got out.

In terms of wait time, you would be waiting for around 10-15 mins on the appetizer and about 20-25 mins. The first item that came out was the Futa Maki. The Maki was simple as it can be with fish, avocado, cream cheese, and roe all wrapped in rice and seaweed. The next item that came out was the vegetable tempura. It came with many vegetables like broccoli, zucchini, onions, carrot(?), and mushroom. It was plain and with soy sauce, was a pretty good appetizer to munch on while waiting. Lastly, the Ramen was the next a dast thing that came out. The pork ramen consisted of ramen noodles, slices of pork, mushroom, green onion, hardboiled egg, and carrot all in a nice broth. I can't really say much about the ramen other than the pork was kinda chewy and the hardboiled egg was kinda weird. Other than that, I really liked the flavor of the pork and the broth. The noodles had a very nice consistency to them as well!

Overall, I think that this restaurant is a good place to go to with a group. The wait may seem a tad long but having company helps with that. Staff were also greatand the place is...

Es de nuestros lugares favoritos para comer satisfactoriamente. Pero el día de hoy, desde el recibimiento todo fue muy diferente, el mesero no saludó de bienvenida, y muy "equis" nos ofreció la mesa que quisiéramos y no con muy buenos modales nos tomó la orden... Otras veces han estado al pendiente de las bebidas, o de otra cosa que se nos vaya ofreciendo, está vez cero! Tuvimos que estar solicitando el servicio. Está vez no doy 5 estrellas y espero tomen en cuenta los comentarios para que no se pierda el buen prestigio de este lugar. Cabe mencionar que nos dimos cuenta todos los meseros son nuevos, y en mi opinión los anteriores que ya tenían años aquí, eran muy buenos...

Bueno pues mi experiencia asido el día de hoy domingo 16 de enero del 2022 y no fue muy agradable como hace años lo fue está ves dejo mucho que desear fui en compañía de mi familia y los alimentos tardaron bastante y trajeron toda la orden en partes primero unos Makis después de 5 minutos el plato infantil después pero mucho mucho después mi platillo que estaban crudas las verduras la proteína era muy poca era más verdura que proteina no avía equilibrio en ese plato muy mal servido y crudo !!! Y pedimos un arroz frito tardo más fue el último en llegar a la mesa y estaba salado y no no fuimos los únicos afectados avía más comensales que igual se les tardo bastante...
