Tacos Pan-pin — Restaurant in Sinaloa

Tacos Pan-Pin is in the parking lot of a now defunct bead company. According to my friend it has been in this lot over 35 years. So the bread maker (named Pan Pin) is gone but the great tacos live on.

They have carne asada and pork al pastor on a soft tortilla as well as on a tostada. The seating is ordinary, plastic chairs and tables, you sit where there is a seat with people you just met. The condiments (salsas, lime, etc) are served family-style. Be ready to eat when you sit because the service is fast and there will likely be people waiting for your place.

I recommend every taco and tostada they sell but the crispy al pastor ranks with the best in Mazatlan. Recommended without reservation.

Llegué a ordenar, tenían montado de manera normal todas las mesas y 2 personas en la carreta, varias personas esperando para llevar, quienes estaban sentados en las mesas sin nada de comida, todos sin tapabocas, varios de los que servían los traían pero mal puestos, donde cobran atascado como si todo estuviera normal, después llega una mujer conocida de ellos por que los saludo se acerco a donde cortan la carne y del bowl donde ya tienen carne asada sin cortar, agarro carne con la mano (sin lavarse la ni nada) tomo el cuchillo con el cortan la carne y lo cortó en pedazos y empezó a comer, después dijo que regresaba porque iba a mover la camioneta, la vi cuando estacionó la camioneta, directo regresó otra vez a donde cortan la carne (sin lavarse las manos) con las llaves de su camioneta en mano volvió a agarrar carde del mismo bowl LA REGRESO y le dieron otro pedazo sin grasa, les hice señas para cancelar mi orden, nadie me hizo caso y solo me fui. Que irresponsabilidad y falta de higiene, si bajo una situación normal no es aceptable con esta pandemia menos....

I hear they have the best carne asada in Mazatlán, but since their hours listed (open at 6 pm) were wrong, I drove all the way from Centro with my 2 young granddaughters and could not stay because of their bed times. On arrival, we were informed that they open between 7 and 7:30. I submitted new hours in the app. Hopefully will get a chance...
