Beautiful setting for a lovely dinner. We had the burrata appetizer, it was creamy and delicious. Also, each of us had a Caesar salad two pieces of grilled romaine and warm croutons. I had the nerano spaghetti, dad had the fettuccini with asparagus and scallops, boyfriend had the ribeye, we also got the special which was spinach ricotta ravioli. Everything was well made and delicious. Our favorite was the ravioli special. We had a bottle L.A Cietto and it was a beautiful pairing with our food. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the caprese cake, the cake was divine and gluten free. We also had a tasting of the limoncello afterwards and was a good digestive after our meals. Fantastic flavors, atmosphere and service. It was a little sad to know the original owner left but I was very impressed with how well things transitioned to the new owners. The flavor was absolutely amazing, the wine selection was fantastic n point and the extremely personalized service was simply delightful! I brought my American side of the family that have never been in San Carlos before and i felt so proud to take them to this restaurant and they are still talking about how wonderful experience it was going to San Carlos but mostly the food and wine from Altamarea.
