🌮 Chuy’s in Rocky Point is a hidden gem! 🌮

We stayed a little farther out from the resorts this trip and stumbled across Chewy’s, a locally-owned spot close to our condo—and we’re SO glad we did. The owner, Jesus, actually served us himself, and his hospitality made the experience even better.

The food? Fantastic. • The salsa was packed with fresh flavor and just the right kick. • The quesadillas were cheesy, melty perfection. • David had the tacos, and they were some of the best we’ve had in Rocky Point. • Even the onion rings, which I’m pretty sure were frozen, still somehow managed to taste amazing!

You can tell there’s heart in this place. The ingredients were fresh, the service was personal, and it honestly blew a lot of the “big name” places out of the water.

If you’re staying near town or don’t mind a short drive from the resorts, Chuy’s is absolutely worth the stop. Support a local spot that truly delivers on flavor...

Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and gave recommendations as well as their opinions for different options. The margaritas were fantastic, the tequila they use is super smooth. The guacamole and chips are amazing. I ordered the cheeseburger. The burger was handmade and not frozen and was super flavorful. The fries were seasoned well. Fantastic bar and restaurant much loved in las conchas. The owner (Chuy) and his daughter bring a great energy. Full bar with lots of great options beer, wine, mixed drinks cocktails…you name it Desiree can probably make it for you. The shrimp basket has been our go to but we had the chile rellenos with shrimp recently and may have found a new favorite.
