This is a wonderful place to go for the Day of the Dead celebration which he actually celebrates year around. It's very cheery and magnificently over-decorated. It's a great place to bring a group.
But as a solo diner not so much. When I stopped buying merchandise for 3Nations Market from Jessie he made it really clear he didn't want anybody that didn't have a lot of money in there.
He was worried that someone might run into my vehicle that I wouldn't have enough money to pay off even though I have full coverage Mexican insurance. He's the kind of guy that is fabulous when he has a audience but alone on 101 basis not so much.
Christian parks his motorcycle in the handicap spot. If you complain about Christian he will mess with your food.
I've never had a problem with the cooked Morales. he's always been really nice to me. My favorite thing to eat in there is coconut shrimp or Hawaiian sandwiches. But I have to ask them not even to put salt on the potatoes cuz I find most of the food in there too salty.
This used to be my favorite restaurant. I would be careful about going to that restaurant late at night. The neighborhood is bad. He does have security, cameras and but believe me I used to live in that neighborhood and we keep our vehicles locked up at night. There's a lot of stuff that goes on in that neighborhood that you don't want to know about.
I'm not able to sit on the hard chairs he has now. The music is really loud.
My sister told me once never complain about the help or they will mess with your food and that's true of this place. Check your money too. I was given a bad Bill from Christian.
Jesse tried to run off with my rent money one month and I had trouble getting it back. Almost got evicted over it involving the police.
Since I'll never set foot in that restaurant again because of how I was treated the last time I was there. So if you want any Mexican trinkets he has a really nice store in there.
I used to buy merchandise from his little store to take up to 3Nations Market in Ajo. Which just reopened. After the Day of the Dead I'm taking all my stuff out and moving it to another location.
I no longer feel safe eating there or doing business there.. and it's not disabled friendly at all.
The overkill on the flashing lights is a no-go for anyone that has migraines or seizures. The music is so loud you can hardly have a conversation in there even though it's good music.
It's not really that child-friendly unless you got really well-behaved children that sit down and don't...
Read moreI don't think this place is family friendly. We went to this place because it was highly recommended to us by a great friend. My kids really wanted to try it out after they heard this place has animals (my kids LOVE animals). As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by Jesse letting us know that our little one (my 5 year old) couldn't be getting out of her seat or else they can refuse service to us. Mind you, my children are very well behaved, so that completely threw me off. Then, after we were all done eating, my children wanted to go see the animals, so we go ask our waitress if it's okay. She says yes that's fine, but I ask 2 more times, "are you sure?" So she says she's going to ask Jesse. Jesse says no because they supposedly have a new animal, I think they said a peacock or something and that it's acting a little wild. Just a few mins later, a group of guys walk in and one of them goes on back to see the animals (without even asking) and no one said anything to him. Food was good and the place was clean and nicely decorated (day of the dead theme) but we will not be going back...
