Tradicional Mexican SeaFood, yes is nice to eat by the ocean, grate view, even when we did not drink, they have a full bar with a bartender. Food has a rich flavor, it feels like is really fresh, everyone needs to know that fish rarely is day fresh, sometimes fishermen stays more then 15 days fishing, so when they say it's today's catch may be from the local small fishermen must of the time time don't believe it unless I catch it, any way, the fish soup was bad, fish tasted as plastic, it had no flavor, but that was just the fish soup, the zarandeado fish, the shrimp and oysters where great, expensive, for the size of the servings. Servers the safety and cleanliness of the place in general seems like they are trying to improve. Still a good experience and nice trip, I will recommend this place just stay away from fish soup don't forget to check your final tab, don't get...
Read moreDona Rositas is a large open air restaurant located in La Manga. You will be driving down a dirt road for a bit but it certainly worth the time and drive. The large white building is on a hill overlooking the water and the pelicans there put on quite a show for you! They have a large menu of various seafood and fresh fish offerings including shrimp, fish fillets, octopus, lobster and much more! For drinks, we both ordered the fresh made horchata, which was delicious! My husband ordered the Garlic Fish Fillet prepared with olive oil, garlic, butter and bell pepper. I chose the Veracruzano which has chopped tomato, Anaheim chilis, onions and black olives. Both dishes were equally delectable and full of flavor😋😋 The staff was courteous and attentive. You'll find the prices to be most reasonable😊 This is a must place to go eat lunch as they close at sundown. Bon...
Read moreI had no idea where we were going when my friends drove me over the bumpy dirt road to the restaurant. It didn't look like a restaurant, but a seaside warehouse. Don't judge a book by the cover! With folding plastic tables and white plastic patio chairs, the metal cladding not quite covering every part of the roof, I had no idea what to expect with the food. The menu is HUGE! We all chose something different, and each meal was beyond amazing. The staff was so friendly, even with us not speaking Spanish. We all left absolutely stuffed, with leftovers for the next day. There are many more things I would like to try on that menu, so here's hoping I end up back in San Carlos soon! YUM
I can't wait to see the patio that was under construction while we...
